Multiculturalismo: a educação no século XXI

La creciente movilidad internacional ha contribuido a la heterogeneidad cultural de las sociedades. La educación en el siglo XXI tiene el desafío de responder a las demandas educativas en las sociedades multiculturales, donde los diferentes grupos culturales tienen diferencias de aprendizaje sustanciales. Este artículo analiza críticamente los enfoques multiculturales que existen dentro del alcance de la literatura, que permiten crear condiciones para la educación multicultural en el presente siglo. En un enfoque teórico-conceptual, la revisión de la literatura propone formar la identidad, competencia y personalidad multicultural del maestro y el alumno; reinventar / reestructurar el currículo escolar; reducir la preconcepción en la escuela y en el aula; Promover la cultura multicultural en la escuela y aplicar la pedagogía igualitaria. Esperamos que esta reflexión sirva como una contribución que levante la discusión sobre el tema y proporcione bases para la reinvención del currículo en contextos monoculturales.
